Excess body fat is something which can cause a lot of problems for your body , and now everyone is crazy about fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. To do that you have to learn ways of how to reduce body fat and stay fit. When you google about ways to reduce body fat , you come across many ways and tips to do so , but all those are mostly generic ways. In this article i am going to tell you one great way / tip to reduce body fat fast.
Anyone can use this tip , no matter what there age is , what their fitness goals are. People who want to reduce weight , gain muscle , even middle age people can also use this tip. Before i tell you and explain you this tip i need to tell you how our body's fat loss happens.
HOW OUR BODY BURNS FAT
The basic concept behind the fat loss for our body is that you have to stay in calorie deficit. Which means you have to consume less calories than your calorie intake in a day. Suppose , you body's maintenance calorie requirement is 3000 calories per day , and if you consume 2500-2700 calories in a day you will undergo fat loss in your body. Since you are consuming less calories than your required amount , your body uses stored fats as an energy source and burns it.
Now , there are a number of ways of staying in a calorie deficit diet , like if you have to consume 2500 calories to stay in calorie deficit , you can consume 2500 calories from healthy foods also , from junk foods also , you can also consume your deficit calories by either only eating peanut butter , or by eating only rice , etc. You should manage your intake of calorie deficit , it should NOT BE ONLY FATS , ONLY CARBOHYDRATES OR ONLY PROTEIN. Your meals should be healthy and it should be a balanced diet.
EXERCISING ON EMPTY STOMACH
First tip to reduce body fat fast is to workout or do cardio on an empty stomach. By saying empty stomach i do not mean that you stay hungry and don't eat anything , this can have adverse effects on your fitness levels.
By saying so , i mean , to workout in the morning on an empty stomach. Now , most of you who have an aim of building muscle mass will think that working out on an empty stomach can lower your muscle mass , this doesn't happen if you are taking proper diet. You won't lose your gains easily. I will explain you how this tip helps in better fat loss.
By working out on empty stomach i mean , fasting for 8 hours , which usually happens in the morning when we have not eaten anything since night (almost 8 hours). Doing cardio or any aerobic exercise on empty stomach results in a better fat loss of the body.
When we workout on an empty stomach a special enzyme , PDK4 , is released in the body. This enzyme is present in our body in abundance , and this enzyme helps our body's fat to metabolise over glucose , which mean , by the help of this enzyme you will be able to burn body's fat more then your stored carbohydrate because it used fats as a fuel source instead of carbohydrates. This is the reason we are able to burn fat fast while doing a Ketogenic Diet.
WHAT COULD BE AN ALTERNATIVE
Many of you must have a busy lifestyle and job , because of which it will be tough for them to exercise in the morning. So for them they should not leave working out , they should not think that , "i don't have time for morning workout , so i won't do it." NO ! You should do what is best for their body and should follow these below alternatives.
1) If you don't have time for morning workout , go for an evening workout , just make sure you have your meal at least 2 - 3 hours before your workout , try to take a nice protein source meal almost 3 hours before your workout.
2) If you are not even able to manage your diet along with your work , another great alternative is to do your cardio after your workout / weight training session. If you do cardio after weight training , our body is prone to burn more fat because that is the closest thing of being in a fasted state.
These 2 alternatives are for those who find it difficult to work on empty stomach or in the morning. But if u can try to wake up early and do workout in the morning , it is the best way to burn body fat fast.
THE BOTTOM LINE
There are a number of ways to reduce body fat , but all tips and techniques , exercises , etc are just not enough. Eating clean and healthy foods and taking proper rest is what matters the most. Our 1 hour hard work inside the gym is only half job , our life of 23 hours outside the gym is more important.
